Built to order

Configuration 1

Cold-weather operation

A cold-weather operating configuration for local information and team documents, with insulated housing, temperature monitoring and heating requirements scoped around the equipment and field conditions.

Price estimateCAD 8,000

Provisional; subject to the final agreed configuration and quote. Screen additional.

Estimate details

Base system estimates exclude a screen. Screen prices are additional. Satellite equipment, satellite service and taxes are separately confirmed and quoted.

All price estimates are provisional and subject to a final agreed configuration and quote. Screen options are planning placeholders; models, suitability and any certification requirements are confirmed during scoping.

Configuration 2

Cold-start design

For starting after the whole unit has cooled, with additional moisture protection and controlled warm-up. Exact start temperature and warm-up time depend on equipment selection and validation.

Built to order

Plan for cold start, operation and charging.

Commission a cold-weather configuration for civilian field work as well as defence and security teams. Plan insulated housing, temperature monitoring and controlled heating around the equipment, power supply and working conditions.

Cold start, continued operation and battery charging have distinct requirements. Temperature limits and acceptance checks are agreed after equipment selection and testing.

Shaped around your application

Define the cold-weather work before choosing the equipment.

Civilian field work and defence or security teams may need different information and access arrangements, while sharing the practical challenge of using equipment in cold conditions. Discuss handling with gloves, transport, moisture transitions and the times when a system must start or remain available.

Insulation, temperature monitoring, controlled heating, cables and seals are selected as a combination. Battery temperature monitoring and controlled charging are matched to the battery’s limits. Cold start, ongoing operation and charging are assessed separately through agreed testing; no fixed temperature rating is assigned before equipment selection and verification.

Every configuration is designed to work offline and fetch online information when connected. Final capabilities depend on suitable existing equipment and compatible ready-made modules, with the complete assembly reviewed against the project’s requirements.
